The Green Valley Farmers Market is located at the Green Valley Village (Mall), in the heart of Green Valley, Arizona. Green Valley is adjacent to a 5000 acre pecan orchard, one of the largest in existence, and is located in the lush, green Santa Cruz River valley. In addition to the numerous outdoor Farmers Market vendors, there are many fine stores and service providers in the mall community. Whatever you’re looking for, you’re likely to find it at the Green Valley Farmers Market.

Green Valley is twenty miles (32 km) south of Tucson and 40 miles (64 km) north of Nogales, Arizona. Close to copper mines and near the hiking and birding areas of the Santa Rita Mountains, it lies in the heart of the Sonoran Desert at an elevation of 3000 ft above sea level, or about 1000 ft above Tucson and 2000 ft above Phoenix. This gives a beautiful year round climate making Green Valley a popular retirement community, with many golf courses and desert and nearby mountains enjoyment opportunities.

Mexico is within an hour’s drive, and the Pacific Ocean’s Gulf of California just 3 hours away. Although Green Valley provides many amenities, Tucson is just a half hour away.

The lush Santa Cruz River valley is adjacent to the community and is home to one of the largest pecan orchards in existence. Nearby Sahaurita is a rapidly growing upscale community with a large community center and water park recreation area providing fun for the whole family. The Sonoran Desert surrounds the area, known for the majestic sajuaro, or sahuaro, cactus, found only in the Sonoran Desert and no place else on earth.

Green Valley is a great place to live, or makes a wonderful destination to experience the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and ‘Sky Island’ mountains, friendly Arizona folks, and of course, the famous Green Valley Farmers Market.
